Consider this. Getting big name speakers to these events is extremely important to attract people. It goes without saying that securing these speakers can and is difficult sometimes. These professionals are almost always quite busy so we need to be creative and accommodating while pursuing them. If they are busy and unable to make it to the actual event, I suggest asking them to prerecord their message. For example, if you want Ron Paul or G. Edward Griffin to address the audience at the Tea Party, but they're too busy to leave Texas or California, recommend (and try to set up in advance)a recording session at a CATV station nearest to THEM. It can be recorded in a manner that appears as though they are addressing the crowd personally and in real-time. The presentation can be simply burnt to a CD or uploaded to the web. As long as we have a quality projector / audio at Fanuel Hall, this would be the next best thing to having them right there. There's still time to pull this off if we move now. Any thoughts?
