Deval might lose Union support
Posted Sunday February 7, 2010 at 3:25 pm by J. W. Evans (district 2)

"In the wake of Gov. Deval Patrick avoiding a union convention due to police protesters, the AFL-CIO president says labor support for a Democrat is no longer guaranteed.

'“This governor took away collective bargaining from police officers, teachers, steelworkers and Teamsters,” said Robert Haynes, whose 400,000-member union supported Scott Brown against Martha Coakley in the U.S. Senate race. “There’s a great deal of anger directed his way by working people.”"

Now this is interesting.

Say Deval Patrick makes the Unions angry enough to the point they do abandon him this coming election.

Who will they go to? Cahill? The Green-Rainbows? Mihos or Baker?

Who's to say they won't do this again either. I bet you this is really tensing some MA incumbents up.
