Seminar Summary
Many MassLPA activists attended the CDC (Center for Disease Control) in Somerville on Saturday August 29th with participants on the inside and protestors outside standing in the rain with signs to raise awareness on the dangers of the governments plans to vaccinate all of us this coming fall. My hats off to the hard-core patriots who stood out in the rain for seven hours while us seminar attendees sat in the comfort of the hall. 
We are on the frontlines here in Massachusetts as the fascists are test-driving their agenda on us. I am a lot disappointed with the so-called Patriots here in Massachusetts who can’t seem to find the time to get off their butts and join us in the fight for our lives. Many articles and blogs from around the country are writing/talking about WTF is going on here with this S-2028 and what are we in Mass doing to stop it. Not to get to long winded on my frustrations with many who have come and gone since the Ron Paul campaign, my point is, please, please, please call me to find out what you can do to help. First and foremost you need to contact your state representative and come to the State House to lobby against this most draconian piece of fascist legislation.
Now back to what happened in Somerville. The CDC provided their PR experts to present their plan to vaccinate the public and the Keystone group moderated as we broke off into focus groups to discuss a cross section analysis of public perceptions on vaccine delivery systems and our trust or lack there of, the government’s ability to implement a mass vaccination plan. Their assumption was that we would want to be vaccinated and the focus was directed to three options based on virulence of the H1N1 piggy flu.
As you can see there was not a plan four, which would be to NOT have any Mass government run vaccination plan. Ask the wrong questions and you always get the answers that you are looking for.
Fortunately, we were there to provide answers that they did not want to hear, which was that we do not want the vaccines, we want the public to be offered alternate options to the vaccines other than coughing into your elbow and washing your hands often. As the protestors sign indicates it is up to us to get educated on the alternatives. At one point in our focus group discussion I called on Mary Clark the Massachusetts Director of Emergency Planning Bureau to our table. I asked her if she was aware of Senate Bill 2028 which she was. I then asked if she supported it, which she did. I then went on the recite excerpts and pointed out the unconstitutionality of this legislation which she replied very similar to Senator Richard T. Moore’s position was that the bill offers more protections and she went on to state that many of the provisions in S-2028 are already law anyways. I suggested that this bill is nothing more than Fascism-101 and she replied, “You can call it what you will”. I then looked her straight in the eye and said, “Madam, you are a Fascist”. She took that as a compliment and a badge of honor.

Mary Clark- Director of Emergency Management Bureau
We tried to find a bio for Mary Clark on her qualifications to be the Director of Emergency Management but could not find one. Upon further research we uncovered Mary’s line of ancestry. It appears that Mary comes from a long line of fascists going back to the third Reich. Her grandmother was a director of Human Resources in Hitler’s cabinet specializing in behavior modification and mind control. Gretchen Clarkenazi was one of Hitler’s favorite control agents.
Gretchen escaped the wrath of the allied forces, escaping to Ireland after the war. Mary grew up on the family farm in county cork where she was raised and taught the ways of the Reich by her grandmother. Mary learned early that pain is necessary evil and a fast track towards submission. Mary tested her experiments on some of the farm animals and possesed a fascination with doll torture and mutilation. Mary eventually moved to Massachusetts where she pursued her education at a pig slaughterhouse and then became house mother in an inner city orphanage. As most of the orphans disappreared or graduated she continued with her degree in law and ethics depreciation.
Governor Patrick appointed Ms. Clark to the Director of MEMA and she has proven her qualifications by supporting S-2028.

CDC Will Host a Strategy Session on the H1N1 Virus on August 29 in Somerville A series of ten sessions will be held around the country before Labor Day, all designed to help state and local health organizations develop a voluntary fall vaccination program for the H1N1 flu virus. Somerville — As a research assistant, Ainsley Ross already has to get a seasonal flu shot.
But with the resurgent threat of swine flu expected this fall, Ross, 28, may have to receive another vaccination to protect her at work: the H1N1 vaccine.
The Somerville woman was among the 110 city residents at a public forum on Highland Avenue Saturday – one of 10 in the country – to give health officials feedback about how vaccinations for the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu, could be distributed.
“I work in a hospital, so I get a flu shot, but I was still concerned enough to attend,” Ross said.
The six-hour program – organized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Keystone Center, a Colorado-based science and public policy nonprofit – included speakers from the CDC, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Somerville Health Department. More than half a dozen representatives of the CDC and Kaystone led the event.
Somerville was one of 10 sites chosen because of its diverse and dense population, organizers said. The Center for the Arts at the Armory hosted the event.
Roger Bernier, a senior advisor at the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, the vaccine division of the CDC, said these meetings are important so that officials can explain the complexities of both the disease and the vaccine to the public.
The meetings also gives health officials the chance to ask residents what they believe is the best way to distribute the vaccine and what are the pros and cons of mass vaccination.
“Should there be a ‘full-throttle’ approach? Should there be a ‘go easy’ approach? Or should we take a moderate stance?” asked Bernier. “We’re asking people to be a jury.”
Federal, state and local funds would be used to create numerous vaccination sites to vaccinate the public in advance, if officials opted for a full-throttle approach, while a go-easy approach would mean opening just a few extra vaccination sites, with demand for the vaccination to be filled throughout the flu season.
Somerville was one of the last forums. People polled at other sites have so far favored taking a moderate approach, he said. Response at Saturday’s meeting was no different. Forty-two percent favored a moderate approach, while 35 percent wanted a “full-throttle” approach. The remaining 25 percent favored a “go-easy” approach.
As of Aug. 26, there have been 1,398 confirmed swine flu cases in Massachusetts. Eleven have been fatal.
Mary Clark, director of the Emergency Preparedness Bureau wants to make sure the vaccines are readily available for the individual target populations: pregnant women, those who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age, health care and emergency services personnel, and people between the ages of 6 months through 24 years of age.
Also people from ages 25 through 64 years who suffer from chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems are at a higher risk for H1N1.
Willa Truelove, 33, a student, said she appreciated health officials including the public in the dialogue about swine flu.
“These are the kinds of conversations we need to have in order to impact real healthcare reform,” she said. “I think there should be more conversations about this kind of issue.”
But not everyone was eager to support swine flu vaccination. Outside the Armory, a half-dozen protesters held signs and distributed leaflets penned by the Liberty Preservation Association of Massachusetts, a nonprofit that describes itself as non-partisan and committed to defending “individual liberty, sovereignty, constitutional government and economic sustainability within a free market system,” according to its Web site.
“I don’t think the CDC is telling the truth about the H1N1 vaccine dangers,” said Daniel V. McGonigle, district 8 coordinator for the group.
McGonigle said he feared the vaccine would contain toxins, noting that swine flu seems “less threatening” to him than the vaccination against it.
Swine flu vaccines being developed contain thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative common in vaccines and used to ward off bacteria, said CDC spokeswoman Artealia Gilliard. The preservative remains controversial as some critics have attempted to link it with autism in children, but no scientific study has proven such a link.
Vaccines free of thimerosal are given to children and pregnant women, Gilliard said. Anyone can also ask for a thimerosal-free vaccine, she said.
Meanwhile, other attendees Saturday voiced concerns about distribution of the vaccine. Armed with a binder of health facts and figures, Brian Haertlein, 44, a machine mechanic, worries officials will make the vaccine mandatory. People should have the right to say no, he said.
But the federal government does not have the authority to mandate vaccinations, Gilliard said.
In addition to Somerville, forums were also held in Birmingham, Ala.; Bucks County, Penn.; Denver, Colo.; El Paso, Texas; New York, N.Y.; Sacramento, Calif.; Spokane, Wash.; and Vincennes, Ind.
Attendees were given breakfast, lunch and a $50 stipend, paid for by the Keystone Center.
“It’s just a small token of appreciation for giving up a Saturday and giving us their feedback,” said Bernier, of the CDC.
